30 Mar 2021  President Joe Biden advanced a false narrative about Georgia’s new election integrity law, claiming that it reduces voting hours, thereby compromising the ability of working-class Americans to go out and vote. This is a clear falsehood, as the law does not change Election Day hours and actually expands access for early voting, as the establishment media outlet, the Washington Post, pointed out in a fact-check, giving the commander-in-chief Four Pinocchios. Biden has spoken sharply against Georgia’s election law, which Gov. They can bring their own food and water. And it only prohibits partisan electioneers from furnishing water. Nonpartisan poll officials can set up self-service water stations. It just has to be 150 feet away from the polls. The law is trying to prevent influencing the vote, which has always been against the law. For example, you can't give away water that has a "Vote for Whomever" sticker on the bottle. IP: Logged |

Biden should spend less time lying about the Georgia law and focus on his own state’s voter suppression. Georgia actually expanded early voting hours by increasing hours on the weekend. In contrast, Delaware has no in-person early voting at all. Georgia has 17 days. In Georgia, you don’t have to have an excuse to get a ballot by mail. In Delaware, you do. The new Georgia law requires drop boxes in every county. Delaware has zero drop boxes. IP: Logged |
