He reaffirms his commitment to free speech, and added that still, on his platform, you don't get to use the 4 words like the C word, the N word, the F word, and God's name in vain (whatever that means, lol)... I guess what he is saying is that on his platform, racial and sexual slurs will not be tolerated, which i think is good sound policy for a social media.

I am wishing him the best and I hope his channel takes off~ Twitter, Youtube and Facebook need to quake in their boots.

So, he has rules, just like other social media platforms. You don't get to say whatever you want to say, no matter what. It isn't 100% freedom of speech, just speech that some people will agree with.

"In the more recent video, Lindell explained that the new network would still moderate against profanity and threats of violence — setting it apart from previous right-wing platforms like Parler and Gab, which prided themselves on their refusal to censor offensive speech.

“You don’t get to use the four swear words: the c-word, the n-word, the f-word, or God’s name in vain,” Lindell says in the video. Instituting that policy will present a significant challenge to conventional automated moderation programs, which are adept at identifying specific strings of text but have no system to distinguish between devout and profane invocations of God."

I don't think this is going to have them quaking in their boots.

You seem to misunderstand why people have issue with the censorship from facebook, twitter and youtube.

When we were never advocating for the right to use racial, ethnic or sexist slurs. That was never the point, teasel.

People have been been banned from the main 3 medias for expressing differing opinions and viewpoints on election integrity, election fraud, election steal, covid lockdowns, covid vaccines, covid treatments. Now people are banned from posting about BLM founder buying million dollars homes...

The banning of those differing opinions had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE USE OF RACIAL ETHNIC OR SEXUAL SLURS.

I really hope you get a clear idea of why people are fighting for freedom of opinion and freedom of speech, those are precious rights enshrined in our Constitution and American values.

She doesn’t care, because in her mind opposing viewpoints deserve to banned As long as it’s not happening to her, she couldn’t care less. She would even gleefully sacrifice all of her own rights on the altar of fear. On the other hand, Republicans value and fight for the rights of all people—even those with whom we disagree with politically and unpopular speech.

They were banned for spreading conspiracy theories, and inciting things like insurrection.

You, Randall and others, insist on projecting crap onto me, so I’m not spending much time arguing with you. Rules against racism and sexism are good, but the rest? So if I said, “oh god” I could be banned for blasphemy. Other platforms that became havens for Trump supporters, were spreading racism and sexism. I didn’t see you guys saying they were terrible places to be avoided at all costs.

Stop projecting, and speaking for me.

That goes for all of you.

This Twitter Alternative Was Supposed To Be Nicer, But Bigots Love It Already

(Two years ago. So why were you guys in favour of them?)

John Matze, the self-described libertarian engineer behind Parler, says his goal is to provide an alternative to Twitter by fostering political discourse more like what you get in real life, when face-to-face conversations mitigate much of the anger. He hasn’t succeeded as yet, however. Parler is full of fury, fear and conspiracy theories. What’s more, the platform doesn’t have the technology or resources necessary to contain the Jew-hatred and Islamophobia so easily found there.

“I don’t think you can have it both ways,” said Alison Dagnes, a professor of political science at Shippensburg University. “I don’t think it works that you say, ‘We’re going to have a safe space for people who have been kicked off of other platforms because their speech is hateful and we promise that this safe space is going to be really civilized.’ How does that work? There is no such thing as civilized hate speech.”

So if someone doesn't agree with you or the party line, instead of meeting them on the battlefield of ideas and present your case & rebut their case with supporting evidence, and win minds through intelligent debate, you prefer to just censor them and label them conspiracy theorists?

Isn't it the hallmark of dictatorships to censor dissent?

And on the subject of inciting insurrection as the reason for banning, why don't you circle back to me after they ban Maxine Waters?

People are calling for mass executions on twitter as well. And? The diff is they're lefties. It's the double standard which irritates so many.
