Three girls were prevented from taking their final exams and suspended (losing a year of college and $16,000 each in tuition) for a photo of them at a party not wearing a mask. While the school let its national championship hockey team hold a parade with no social distancing and some not wearing masks! Yes, the parents are suing, and yes some heads should roll.IP: Logged |

Yes, sue. Sue every individual....as an individual who took any part in having these girls suspended. AND sue the college under the legal theory of 'agency' under which the individuals acted in their capacity as employees. One more thing. Think BIG when assessing your damages for illegal, unreasonable, arbitrary actions which attack your rights as a citizen. IP: Logged |

Wow. Absolutely ridiculous.I don't usually back people's choice to sue unless there is a justifiable reason. It is more than justified in this regard. Did the school honestly believe the decision to suspend this girl over a photo of her on her own time not wearing her mask? Who is going to take that sitting down? They had to know that would produce backlash. At this point masks are no longer being enforced for health reasons. It's used to shame others & reinforces their superiority complex. Some people seem to feel like martyrs wearing their masks. IP: Logged |

 UMass Kicks 3 Girls Off Campus, Refuses To Refund Tuition For Not Wearing Masks At Party While College President Marty Meehan Poses Without Mask On With Student ....Marty Meehan is the President of UMass-Amherst (salary of $572K, pictured there with an ass kissing kid student Eli Slovin, who happens to be buddies with incompetent Athletic Director Rob Bamford (salary of $402). Neither is wearing a mask. Neither will be kicked out of school.
