it looks like disposal and the filling out of forms can fall entirely on the healthcare facility and the name etc can be left blank remains can be left unclaimed by the parents

whoever is burying the child is the person who fills that out, parents fill it out in the event that they claim the remains for burial or cremation and the healthcare facility does it if they don't

i've seen articles claiming a woman is going to be forced to name her miscarriage and all kinds of **** (bill states the name can be left blank) that things will be disclosed (bill has a privacy clause) etc

if they do not choose that the bill leaves it up to the facility to treat the deceased as a human life rather than a tumor

i find it very interesting that i had to find the actual bill separately from all your sources because they dont even seem to link it btw something's very wrong with that

It's amazing how one cannot trust headlines and cliff notes from certain segments of the media who rely on people's intellectual laziness to spread their propaganda. Most people don't check and cross check the BS they are fed.

It has become incumbent upon us to actually go do our own research, dive deep and then we find out what the truth is.

if you read the actual bill (which i linked) you'd see what i already said which is it doesn't have to be the woman, it could be the father, or if the family has no desire to claim the remains the healthcare facility (whatever gender the worker doing the paperwork is)

she's only required to fill out a form if she wishes to have the remains of the baby and if she does not it falls on the facility to deal with both the remains and the paperwork

facilities are currently not obligated to treat the remains of miscarried children as anything other than biowaste, this bill is so that the remains are treated the same way human remains are

if the families wish to retrieve the remains for burial or cremation they are not able to because you can't ask a hospital for biowaste it gets disposed of

this bill just changes the default from treating a miscarried child like a tumor to like a human corpse and allow parents access to their dead child if they wish to have it

people doing paperwork for death certificates and so on is nothing new, it's a standard procedure, in order to retrieve things paperwork needs to be filed by the family not the the hospital

if nothing is retrieved the hospital does the paperwork and takes care of everything
