While 70 percent want President Trump to run again and would vote for him if the primary were held today, only 21 percent want Desantis to run; however, if President Trump were to not run, then 68 percent would vote for Desantis if the primary were held today. I can see a Trump/Desantis ticket in 2024. President Trump will win by a landslide for the third time.IP: Logged |

I would vote for DeSantis. I don't think it is a good idea for Trump to run. By running again, he would be giving a shot in the arm to the struggling left wing media. They would be back on the same TDS media frenzy they gave us for 5 years and they would make EVERYTHING all about Trump. DeSantis is GOLD. He doesn't have the strong dislikability factor associated with Trump. He hasn't said anything that the media can twist like they did for Trump. And if he has Kristi Noem or even Rand Paul as his VP. that would be a golden ticket. IP: Logged |

21 Jul 2021 Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday he could not announce a decision to run for president in 2024 because of campaign finance laws. The president spoke about his future political plans in an interview on the Michael Savage Show. Savage asked the former president to talk about the possibility of another run for president in 2024, prompting Trump to criticize campaign finance laws. “I can’t really because of campaign finance rules, regulations, very complicated, very stiff, and frankly very antiquated if you want to know the truth. It’s ridiculous,” he said. But Trump did concede he looked forward to talking about his political plans in the future. “I will be talking about it and I think that people will be very happy,” he predicted. Trump’s political action committee – Save America PAC – allows him to spend the hundreds of millions of dollars that he raised after the election for political activities but not on an official presidential campaign. If Trump officially announced a run for the White House, he would face strict rules requiring him to share details of his personal finances as well as stricter limits on donations and spending. Trump’s Save America PAC last reported $85 million cash on hand in April, money expected to increase as the president gets involved politically in the 2022 midterms. The former president can continue to use that money to help Republican candidates as long as he is not an official candidate for president. Their heads are not going to explode. They are going to regroup and deliver the same relentless media assassination and redouble on the fearmongering with the same allegations of DT being a white supremacist, a January 6 insurrections inciter, coup maker, killer of 500,000 americans through covid, etc... and we will never be able to talk about the real issues that we are facing as a people.
