The budget to protect a little over 500 people on the Hill is over $400 million a year. That’s double the $200 million police budget of Atlanta! And $100 million a year more then the police budget for the entire city of Detroit—the most dangerous city in America! And they have increased the current budget for the Capitol police to $2.2 billion! WTF?

Do you not understand the point? There is no reason they need a budget that is double that of Atlanta or $100 million more than the entire city of Detroit in order to protect 535 people.
