I really don't understand but it's you're pov and I respect it. I don't agree though. All living beings to me, speaking as an Aquarius, should be placed as a value upon living. I think putting children and families in a higher honor is an opinion of many but it seems to me less compassionate. Less high vibration to throw grandma and her elder friends under some bus because what "she lived already".
? I mean everyone is different and maybe those older people that look useless to the discriminant eyes of other's, have far much more to bring than one might think!
We are books. In books comes value knowledge. Do you think an Indian tribe would throw out their elders? How about looking at an old oak tree sitting for 500 years on the front door area. Looking at it everyday, knowing it had rich history to share - just put that chainsaw on and remove it?

Well I do very much agree with the above part.

Anyone that overly identifies with either side, to some extent is allowing themselves to be manipulated and deceived. I was once there, but realized the above and so left that con/sham game.

The psychopathic plutocrats don't give a crap about left nor right ideals, beliefs, etc, they only care about more and more power and control and they will, and have, used both sides to accomplish their aims/goals of acquiring more of the above.

I really don't understand how so many people can still fall for the whole left-right polarization thing, except that corporate media is constantly pushing that narrative and focusing on it 24-7. That is a giant clue right there that they want us to focus on, and thus be polarized by it.

I recall one time approaching a homeless man, despite his badgering me for cash so he could get drunk, I gave him food instead. It was aggravating that he seemed to push for the toxic juice but he stood there eating the food. I knew he was hungry, though his craving was for booze.
I didn't realise I had this compassion in myself to do that, until then. I patiently waited to be sure this man wouldn't throw away what I knew he needed. My husband shook his head. As I am stubborn. My heart also aches for others I do not know.
He (husband) couldn't believe I cared about a stranger. We all have it in us - unless we really feel strongly that we simply don't.
