Florida vax rates were/are hardly abysmal. The abuse hurled at DeSantis and Floridians in general as if the surge were an incontrovertible result of stupid antivaxxers being stupid doesn't make a lot of sense. It's politics.I'm in the heavily vaccinated Northeast and we are experiencing a Delta wave as well. There is obviously more to the timing of these waves than vax stats alone. IP: Logged |

OF course, DeSantis has had a target on his back as they sense he is poised to replace Trump in terms of leadership, minus Trump's baggage. That scares them, that really scares them. And so he must be destroyed at all cost. They would actually prefer having to deal with Trump, and blaming all vaccine hesitancy and all the ills of society on Trump. IP: Logged |
