Personally, I do not find the word negro and even colored offensive. They were commonly used neutrally, that is why we have names such as the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People), and the UNCH ( UNited Negro College Fund) etc... The speeches of MLK and Malcom X are peppered with the word negro and colored.

But then in the late 60s or early 70s, the activists decided these words were offensive and society just went along with that narrative.

As for Biden, he has been taught the word is offensive, but since he has cognitive decline, the word slipped out of his brain and through his lips before he could censor himself. It's okay because the ever policing and perpetually offended woke crowd will give him a pass because they voted for him and he is not a republican.
