A. If it’s not the point, then why not amend the language? B. My personal opinion is beginning to shift towards the idea that age is more relevant than gender on the question of whose opinions about reproductive freedom ought to matter. “Pro-lifers” over 50, would you give up your retirement funds for public education and universal health care for this hypothetical next generation? If not, you really ought to focus on something else. C. I don’t really believe in legislating marriage, period. I mean, other than age limits.IP: Logged |

Methink if children should be allowed to make life altering decisions such as changing their sex and get gender affirming treatments such as hormones and surgery, then they should be able to get married, and vote etc...Right?... But I digress. I don't think the bill is intent on legalizing child marriage, but it is poorly written as it is and its creators ought to rewrite it to address the concerns, whether the concerns are legitimate or not.
