Florida taxpayers could face a $1 billion Disney debt bomb if its special district status is revoked

This is actual government censorship, in response to an opinion that DeathSantis didn't like. I've heard that Florida will be paying 25% more in taxes.

You’ve heard wrong, as usual, if not as always. Florida runs a huge surplus each year. No one’s taxes will go up. This has nothing to do with censorship. Disney can say anything they want, even if it means lying and spouting off BS. This is about equality. Universal and Sea World don’t get any special treatment. Why should Disney?

My Biden supporters acquaintances are posting similar articles on their Facebook timelines.

I am no tax expert, but I am sure Florida will be fine. DeSantis strikes me as someone who is methodical and thorough in the way he moves through things, and I am sure he had a team of law and tax experts working on this before signing on it.

Just think how much in taxes Disney has avoided over the decades.

More BS from leftist morons.

When cities and counties pick up taxing authority over Disney, they will collect those taxes from Disney, just like every other business in their jurisdictions.

Disney should have stuck to entertainment and kept their long, bony, busybody noses out of Florida's education of Florida's children.

Disney is taking a beating. Their stock has fallen from $142 a share to $118 in one month. Further, the general attitude among parents is that Disney can take Mickey Mouse and stuff him where the sun don't shine. Look for a lot fewer visitors to Mouse Land and the resulting loss of revenue.

Get woke, go broke!

DeSantis
