No Covid restrictions required, almost everywhere (I know of a few places that still have them). Numbers are going up again, people catching it for the first time. Testing isn’t widely available, thanks to republicans a stopping the funding for testing, vaccines, treatment

Except that no one is spreading sickness or death. I couldn’t be happier. I know you’d prefer restrictions to keep going on forever, but people are fed up with the fear mongering lies. It’s called freedom. Try it sometime. Masks are worthless. So are Covid vaccines. The vaccinated still caught it and still spread it. Who cares about Omicron variants? Getting that version for the first time is much more preferred than the original version. Hospitalizations and deaths are way down. Facts matter. We are out of the pandemic phase. Move on.

Apparently not in my city. I was out with my SO this evening, everywhere, restaurants are full, the streets were full of people, people are not masked, people are out there enjoying themselves on a beautiful spring night.

You are not going to be young forever, teasel. Those years you are wasting in covidian worries will NEVER come back.

And lastly, hospitals are not overwhelmed and we know that for a fact because they have not rehired the unvaxxed personnel they let go of. When they have the luxury of letting go of health workers that were considered valuable before the vaccine but by virtue of a vaccine being out there, these same health workers if unvaxxed can be disposed of, that tells us there is no real emergency.
