The law clerk who leaked this has thrown away his or her law career. The real question is why was it leaked? I posit that it was to get ahead of the ruling in order to force SCOTUS to change its ruling OR to create an uproar and support to pack the Court.IP: Logged |

The fact the federal government and federal courts assumed jurisdiction over abortion was gross error. Abortion is not one of the enumerated rights granted to citizens or to the federal government. Abortion was always a state issue that federal courts and the federal government usurped authority over.10th Amendment
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. There was never any delegation of power by the Constitution to the federal government over the issue of abortion.. There was never any delegation of power by the Constitution to the federal government to prohibit abortion in the various states or to mandate abortion in the various states. The issue of abortion remains a state issue delegated to the states and to the people of the various states by the 10th Amendment, who elect their respective state governments. This latest Supreme Court ruling*....if it has been reported accurately and if it becomes a Supreme Court decision will send the issue of abortion back to the states where it Constitutionally belongs.
