The only thing this is a boost to is inflation and a loss of jobs. You don’t raise taxes in an inflationary period or a recessionary period. Reagan got us out of an inflationary recession period by deep tax cuts. Manchin just committed political suicide. This monstrosity more than doubles the taxes on coal in West Virginia in Section 13901. Thankfully, Senator Sinema is likely to block it.
