Until I see different facts and stats, that's my position.

And by the way, the above advice will also keep you from getting pregnant if abortion is the holy grail to you.

This was a public service announcement.

Common sense is no longer common.

The same people who had the gall to tell everyone they need to wear masks and get vaccinated and stay home, and don't go to church, don't sing in church, etc... don't have the guts to say to people be abstinent, or wear a condom if they are going to have sex.

It isn't just a sexually transmitted disease.

Condoms and birth control aren't 100% either. My cousin got pregnant from a broken condom. A friend got pregnant when she had an IUD. It happens.

Common sense is no longer common, when you have conspiracy theories flying around, and when you have an agenda to push, like banning abortion.

So what do you recommend terrified people like you do for Monkeypox if abstinence or condom do not work?

You know, there is a vaccine for it, right? Would taking the vaccine allay your fear, then you can go back to reckless sex since abstinence is not apparently a choice and condom, well don't work?

As for all those people who reportedly got pregnant despite doing everything right like using condom and IUD, I am going to keep my thoughts to myself...

@teasel, I know the following is not twitter nor instagram, so it might be outside your intellectual comfort zone, but please try to look at statistics if you want to continue participating in meaningful conversation on Monkeypox and actually help people you claim to care about:

The New England Journal of Medicine report of July 21, 2022 states among other things:

We report 528 infections diagnosed between April 27 and June 24, 2022, at 43 sites in 16 countries. Overall, 98% of the persons with infection were gay or bisexual men.

The latest study shows that 98 percent of all monkeypox cases occurred in gay or bisexual males, and 41 percent also have HIV.

Will the gays do their part for society and ease up on their beloved random partner orgies? Or is that too much to ask?

what’s crazy to me is that it’s been portrayed as an STD and now all of a sudden they’re reporting cases in children and dogs. It’s like the elephant in the room. Like are you’d saying now it isn’t sexually transmitted or ?????

What a retard place this is.
Stereotyping is a elitist agenda to divide us. Besides any virus can pass through any pores of your body including your eyes. So are we all now supposed to wear goggles?

Ofcourse we all know they want us to focus our attention on population control-- remember how an entity possessed the Georgia guide stone destroyer? Go check back on past posts. And build a strong foundation so you don't get swamped by BS posts.

Morons! Wake up for your own good.

Again, the same people who had no qualm telling others loud and clear they should wear mask, isolate and get experimental vaccines, do not have the balls to tell the gay male community: Wear a condom or be abstinent. They prefer to deflect, to wail warning about homophobia, anything to not address the issue and actually help those who are most at risk.

There is something about sexual responsibility that does not sit right with the left.

According to the leftist view of life and sex, one should be able to have sex willy nilly, irresponsibly and mindlessly, and not have to deal with consequences whether in terms of STDs or pregnancy.
