Well, not quite, but almost. One seat away from the majority, so it is a foregone conclusion. That will leave 12 more open seats. If, by chance, Republicans get all 12 remaining seats, that would be 230, which is about what was predicted before the mid-terms began.

Randall, who do you like for House Speaker? I think we need a war time consigliere and that's not Kevin McCarthy.

Elections are being held today. I have no preference. May the best person win. Just as long as that person has the balls (figuratively, not necessarily literally) to do what needs to be done.

It feels like Clickbait, Randall!
By now, you should know there is no such thing as a foregone conclusion...

I have stepped away from the news in the past couple of days, and when I saw your title, I took it at face value...

It would be nice if we stop with the speculations and wishful thinking and only post things that are fact. I used to come to this forum for facts...

The matrix is still controlled. No point wasting your energy especially in politics.

With a Republican House, those 87,000 new IRS agents won’t get paid.

Yes! And I'm sure they are not going to work without getting paid.

If you're cheering on Boebert, there's something seriously wrong with you. Trump and Deathsantis, too.

Imagine thinking McCarthy and McConell will give you anything at all.

Look what the Dems have done. Pelosi got the message and will step aside for Hakeem and his "ice man" bs. He is a certifiable extremist. The new face of the DNC and he will not fuuck around.

Meanwhile the GOP offers up the same ole same ole. They are not playing to win. Read that again. They. Are. Not. Playing. To. Win.
