COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A shooting at a LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado left five people dead and 18 wounded late Saturday night and a suspect was in custody, police said.
Lt. Pamela Castro of the Colorado Springs Police Department said police received a report of a shooting at Club Q at 11:57 p.m. Castro said there was one suspect who was injured and was being treated. She said it was not immediately clear whether he had been shot by officers. She said the FBI was on the scene and assisting in the case. The police department tweeted that it planned an 8 a.m. news conference at its operations center. Club Q is a gay and lesbian nightclub that features a “Drag Diva Drag Show” on Saturdays, according to its website. “Club Q is devastated by the senseless attack on our community,” the club posted on its Facebook page. It said its prayers were with victims and families, and “We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack.” The motive behind the shooting was not immediately known but it brought back memories of the 2016 massacre at the the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, that killed 49 people. And it occurred in a state that has experienced several notorious mass killings, including at Columbine High School, a movie theater in a Denver suburb in 2012 and a Boulder supermarket last year. How many republicans do you actually frequent? I am around tons of them now that i have moved to a red state, and none of the people I know advocate going to a nightclub and shooting LGBT... Nor have I ever heard any republicans on this board do so... IP: Logged |

His father was relieved that his son isn't gay, WHEN HE WAS TOLD THAT HIS SON HAD COMMITTED A MASS SHOOTING.That was the only concern he had, and that alone would be ****** up - if he'd had an issue with his son being gay. But to be relieved that he'd only committed mass murder???

At the 7:00 mark, he states that the man who grabbed his son to keep him from doing more damage IS A HERO! He also states between the 7:00 mark and the 8:00 mark that "he didn't have to kill people, I would never do it, I would never think my son would do this." And I am paraphrasing because I was typing what I was hearing... I was taught to be meek and submissive to men. That my body caused men to sin. That a woman was responsible for the fall of man. That women were meant to be led. As a child, I was made to wear dresses past my knees because my legs made grown men sin. My collar bones showing could get me into trouble. My skirt length caused boys to stumble. Who told you that? Your mother? Your father? Or both? Those abuses are real issues but are exceptions with church and not common. Half-naked men dancing sexually suggestively in front of young children is the very definition of grooming. The real question is why do they want to? And why do teachers want to see it? Parents have the right to prevent it without their written consent. You clearly think the government owns your body. You must also think the schools own the children. IP: Logged |

Consistently on this board, and I suppose in real life also, teasel will do anything, and go off on any tangents to avoid saying the 3 humble pie words: I WAS WRONG. I called her out about spreading the now proven as fake news of Russia shooting missiles in Poland. She has avoided responding and acknowledging she was wrong.
