The field of potential challengers is growing. In a field of 10 or 15, President Trump only needs a 1 percent plurality in a state to get that's state's delegates, which he will get in every state except Florida (if Desantis runs). If he runs, he does pull off some Trump supporters, though. If it's Trump versus Desantis, the latest poll shows Trump wins 55 to 45. I think it will be closer than that, but 30 percent of Republicans will vote for President Trump no matter what, and that figure will likely be 50 percent closer to the race.
