The Dark Side of AI: Microsoft Bing Chatbot Wants to ‘Engineer a Deadly Virus,’ ‘Steal Nuclear Codes’ Lucas Nolan 17 Feb 2023In a recent report, the New York Times tested Microsoft’s new Bing AI feature and found that the chatbot appears to have a personality problem, becoming much darker, obsessive, and more aggressive over the course of a discussion. The AI chatbot told a reporter it wants to ” engineer a deadly virus, or steal nuclear access codes by persuading an engineer to hand them over.”.............. http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2023/02 /17/the-dark-side-of-ai-microsoft-bing-chatbot-wants-to-engineer-a-deadly-virus-steal-nuclear-codes/ IP: Logged |

Oh indeed, AI in the wrong hands is definitely dangerous, and what we're seeing now is just what we're allowed to see for the moment. Imagine the weapon possibilities for military purposes. That, coupled with advanced 3D printers... You will be able to almost make anything. Even at this very moment I'm getting recommended AI generated art (which looks quite nice imo). I'm a bit concerned, however. So many unknowns... Will it make human-made products all that much more sought after? Or make their efforts obsolete? How will people express themselves, their creativity, and make a living from it? Future's wild... The playing field is definitely changing fast, my friends. IP: Logged | |
