You would know about obsession, since you post so heavily about President Trump. Posting the professional opinion of the commissioner of the FEC about Bragg not having the authority to enforce federal campaign finance laws is hardly obsessive. It is, however, a fact.

A number of legal experts concur. This will not end well for Bragg. Even if a Manhattan jury finds him guilty, it'll be reversed, either by the Second Circuit or the Supreme Court.

I doubt it will go to court. If this judge ignores all these motions to dismiss, he should be disciplined. Any 1L law student can can see the bullet holes in this case.

I agree.
This judge should be disciplined for not already dismissing this hot steaming mess.

How do you...as a judge let a felony case go forward that fails to state a felony offense in the indictment...or, alleges a federal felony that neither the state judge or state prosecutor has jurisdiction over?

Because we have only the tattered remnants of a fair and tenable justice system. The Long Walk has infiltrated everything.

President Trump should have refused to plea until he was shown the law he had supposedly broken.

It sounds like you have come to the conclusion there's only one option left to address grievances with the federal government.
