WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — President Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s plea deal on two tax charges fell apart on Wednesday after the federal judge hearing his case expressed concern over a related agreement on a more serious gun possession charge.

The outcome leaves open, at least temporarily, the yearslong investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings. He had been charged with two misdemeanor tax crimes of failure to pay more than $100,000 in taxes from over $1.5 million in income in both 2017 and 2018, and he made an agreement with prosecutors, who were planning to recommend two years of probation.

Last month, Biden was charged with possession of a firearm by a person who is a known drug user, a felony. He had a Colt Cobra .38 Special for 11 days in October 2018. He agreed to enter into a diversion agreement, which means that he would not technically plead guilty to the crime. As long as he adhered to the terms of his agreement, the case would be wiped from his record. If not, the deal would be withdrawn. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

U.S. District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, said she was concerned about the language in the diversion agreement and suggested the lawyers get back together and discuss it..................

First, it was evidence. Second, you should be concerned about where those images came from. And third, if you didn’t hide your head in the sand, you’d already know the answers to the above.

The judge is now questioning if Hunter was a foreign agent. If so, a foreign agent for who and for what purposes? That would then bootstrap the two tax crimes for which the statute of limitations have run. The left seems to think there was no issue since the tax bills were paid. It’s not that Hunter owes the taxes that was the problem. No one has ever home to prison for not paying taxes! Read that again. The problem was lying on his tax returns, which is a felony for each count.

Yeah, Hunter Biden thought all those other charges were going away...dropped. The gun charge, the failure to register as a foreign agent are, apparently, still kicking.

Wait, this is about taxes that weren’t paid right away, but were paid eventually.

Why aren’t you wanting them to go after rumpy? Why did you say that avoiding laying taxes, made him smart? When he owed them.

Sometimes your ignorance is annoying. President Trump used legal tax avoidance by taking tax deductions written into the law. Thus, no, President Trump did not “owe” any taxes. Hunter is a tax cheat who lied under penalty of perjury. I realize the difference will continue to go over your head, but I clarify it here for others who are rational.
