Students that verbally threaten Jewish students and teachers should be permanently expelled. They should also be charged for assault (no physical contact is required). If they chase them where they have to be locked in a room for their safety, that should be treated as a hate crime. Any university that receives public funding that has not meted out disciplinary action should be stripped of all funding per Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. This also goes for any protests that cross the line--such as chanting "From the River to the Sea." IP: Logged |

Anti-Israel? What happened to the first amendment? But sure, let’s blur the face of the January 6th coup attempted, on behalf of your boy, so they can’t be charged by the DOJ, which is obstruction of Justice. And you specifically said anti-Israel, not the extremists who have been going after Jewish students. So, when will we see republicans dealing with groups like the proud boys, and the Nazis who have been marching in different places here, including Ohio? Actually denouncing them, instead of crying “free speech!” Free speech for Nazis, but not for Jewish people against Netanyahu? A Jewish friend of mine, wants to leave the country, because of this law pushed yesterday, equating criticism of the Israeli government, with anti-semitism. IP: Logged |

And what about this? Free speech for them? They chanted “blood and soil”, “you will not replace us” and “Jews will not replace us” and trump supporters stood up for them. Freedom of speech. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum26/HTML/008724.html Still waiting for you guys to denounce them. *crickets* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_and_soil http://www.ushmm.org/antisemitism/what-is-antisemitism/origi ns-of-neo-nazi-and-white-supremacist-terms-and-symbols I’m out again. The First Amendment also covers freedom of religion. You can't be as ignorant as you act. It's not free speech if it involves attacking others and chasing them for who knows what would happen if they get caught. And universities must stop such discrimination based on religion and race or lose funding. If these groups you mentioned were on colleges, I would say the same exact thing. DUH! So, you love Nazis when you support the cause (Palestinian protests), and then you claim to hate Nazis when they exercise free speech? Will the real teasel please stand up? And we now know Jan. 6 was an inside job. IP: Logged |
