One part of the SAVE act, if passed, would prevent married women from voting with their married name, if they didn’t go through the courts to legally change their name (apparently most don’t, and just start using their husband’s name). Something like that. I’m still trying to wake up. So, if their married name didn’t match the name on their birth certificate, they would be unable to vote. IP: Logged |
