Other than losing his current job, there will be zero repercussions or consequences for people like him. Why? because the general population who blindly followed him and demonized those who didn't would have to admit they were wrong and even stupid; and frankly, most human beings lack the intellectual and spiritual integrity to admit that they were wrong.
