The post was one of nine Southern Army bases named after Confederate leaders being renamed after the 2020 killing of George Floyd. The other bases are being named after individual heroes and heroines, but the Fort Bragg naming committee pressed for the name Liberty as symbolizing the post's mission.- - - - - So, he's changing it for fans of the Confederacy. No one asked for a background story. He’s changing it because it’s “bringing out country back.” You can’t sanitize history. Dems are so concerned about names while they abandon women and choose criminals over citizens and illegal immigrants over veterans.IP: Logged |
