Of course, you should already know that climate change/GLOBAL warming has nothing to do with LOCAL cyclical weather patterns or temperatures. The last wildfire was caused by arson committed by the homeless. But even if this were not the case this time, lightning strikes are still not climate change. NewScum knew from the past that another wildfire could have occurred. Still, he refused to clear away the underbrush (the number one cause). Simple forest management would have prevented the spread. And he refused President Trump’s offer of lots of water. Instead of buying a new helicopter equipped to fight the fires, he spent $500 million on DEI initiatives. He also cut money from the wildfire mitigation fund. The LA mayor spent $2 million on equity and inclusion staffing versus replacing the aging water main under Sunset Blvd. All of this trauma and loss could have been avoided. Now no insurance will ever be available for homes in the future at any premium cost.
