I'm old enough to remember conspiracy theorists/the GOP, using these men as a reason to not trust anything or anything that helps treat or protect against Covid.

Now they just won't be taught about, at all, because of racists getting their way.

Now, if before they graduate, they have to take a course on history of US air force, then the story of Tuskegee airmen would fit fine in such a course. But on a basic training curriculum course? That is just pushing ideology.

The story of the Tuskegee Airmen is part of US history which should be taught in the proper context. Not just throw it in in a course that's teaching people how to fly!
