quote: "If you don't know the song ("Do You Hear the People Sing?"), it's from the musical "Les Misérables" and is the rallying song for the French Revolution in the musical. The song symbolizes the spirit of defiance, unity, and hope for a better future. It is sung by the revolutionaries, led by Enjolras, as they prepare to fight against oppression, rallying the people to rise up against tyranny."
MAGA told me that a revolution/insurrection is patriotic... I know that he used this song in 2016, but the military takes an oath to the constitution, not to him. The song doesn't represent him, either. And he did threaten to turn the troops on civilians, like me, whom he called "the enemy within" and said that we were worse than the dictators with whom he exchanges love letters. IP: Logged |
