Did you notice there were not many black faces in the protest crowds?

Black people, especially the women for the most part stayed home. The word in the black community was to make April 5 a Day of Rest instead of a day of protest. Haha!

I have prayed for this moment, for my fellow black women to stop letting themselves be used as the face of protest, as the front line attack dogs for the democratic party.

They are doing this for dubious reasons. Some say they are afraid of retaliation, others say they did their part at the voting booth and they are pissssed at the rest of the electorate for voting for Trump. But it is a great start and I applaud it. Focusing more on themselves, their emotional well being, their own lives, will be beneficial.

Because they put in so much work trying to get Kamala elected, and white people let them down. They still support Kamala, they just want someone else to do the work, because they are tired. They aren’t newly made Trump supporters.

Even though I couldn’t get to a protest, I’m glad it happened, and I’m glad that I have other places to talk, where everyone else was, too. I may be feeling totally defeated in my own life, but this place doesn’t do that to me, anymore.

I didn't claim they were new Trump supporters. I am just glad they are not letting the dems use them like they have in the past. Especially Black women. Black women have the highest statistics of overweight and obesity. They have other fish to fry and should focus on healing themselves first!

It looks like they were peaceful protests, and though I may not agree with them, I think that was very good.

See, you can exercise your first amendment right to protest, and not let it degenerate into antifa or blm style violence.
