The birth rate is down, and that could spell doom.

$5000 would barely cover anything. It isn't an incentive, at all. I saw someone on social media saying their friend pays $40,000 a year for daycare alone.

Try this:

Universal healthcare, mandatory maternity leave, full reproductive healthcare for women in all states, and student loan forgiveness. Also, we’re not your brood mares.

We get a choice in the matter.

Actually, teasel is making some good points:

Mandatory maternity leave or rather paid maternity leave would be nice!

Help with daycare expenses would also be nice!

Such a good little tyrant you would make. First, read more carefully. No one said you didn’t get a choice. Universal healthcare is ridiculous. Healthcare would be rationed, and long wait times for surgeries would ensure many die. I think you mean abortion in all states, right?. Call it what it is. You can’t tell private companies they have to pay maternity leave. They get to decide. If you don’t like their decisions, you are free to go work elsewhere. Student loan forgiveness is never going to happen. Why should people who paid their loan have to pay for your gender studies degrees? Start paying it back in two weeks or face the consequences.

I remember the republicons accusing women of being welfare mothers, if they took any money from the government. What happened to that?

Ohioans struggle to put food on the table. Food banks must be protected.

Has rumpy restored funding to the food banks he cut last month?? All of that food wasted.

That universal healthcare should include dental, too, and eye care, because our eyes and our teeth are in our head.

..and omg to topic...

$5,000...gee, who's gonna go for that?
..and do you really want them reproducing?

What happened to logic and common sense?

Who wants to bring children into this
World right now?

I truly hope the Truth comes out

This isn’t Canada. Our country has far more citizens than there. And it actually doesn’t work that well. There are long lines to use equipment like CAT Scans. Resources get scarce. People who don’t want children are not going to have them because of five grand. But people who may be on the fence, they might decide to. But the bottom line is that Social Security will become insolvent on our current path. We’re at 1.6 births per woman, and we need to be at 2.1 births to keep the country running. There are always reasons not to bring children into this world. I could argue that now is way better than during WWI and WWII.

All I can tell you is what I know..
all of my family have been well cared
for, where is your information coming
from?

We have been lied to, for too long...

Why haven't we evolved to realize
we're all in this together?

Our food is killing us!
Other countries don't buy our poison,
that we blindly feed our children, our-
selves?

We have 5,000 preservatives, other
countries under 100...

..and sure, let's bring more children
into this human contamination...

Has the world gone mad?

I took Healthcare Law, which was an elective and was taught by a very liberal professor, but she taught the class straight from the book, and it got very critical of the backroom deals Obama had to make to get the Affordable Healthcare Act passed. It also discussed the different ways that countries implemented universal healthcare, and how it could never work here. It specifically mentioned Canada and how they had to conserve money, so hospitals share large equipment. I'll see if I can find the textbook. They are all stacked up on top of each other on the floor.

Agreed about the contamination thing. But RFK is working to change all that.

They should stop tearing away environmental protections - and that also includes bringing back the staff for the FDA, who inspect our food.

They should do something about the gun problem, so that people aren't scared to send their children to school. When there was talk about banning phones in school, in my State, the biggest worry - and my first thought, even though I don't have children - was, "What if there is a school shooting?" How would they let their parents know they were okay, or say their last goodbyes, before they're taken out by someone who was able to get at least one gun, because of loose gun laws, and the GOP who love them. Who push guns the way they claim immigrants push fentanyl.

Canadian birth rates have been declining for 10 years and are near Japan's rates, even with their universal healthcare. So clearly, having universal healthcare is not the answer to declining birth rates.

Full reproductive healthcare when used by people like you is code word for abortion on demand. How does abortion on demand encourage birth rates to grow???

As for the student loan, what the hell does that have to do with the subject matter?

Guns aren't a problem. The problem is the breakdown of society caused by the destruction of family values caused by you know who and you know what.

Yes, population problem is not unique to this country. It is worldwide and endangers the existence of civilization, according to Musk. The bigger issue is why are so many people who want children incapable of getting pregnant? What is causing mass infertility? We know that there are some people who want depopulation of the entire planet. The Georgia Guidestones said as much right out in the open. They would rather all of us die, so the planet would stop warming. So, until President Trump solves the root issue (which has nothing to do with affordability and everything to do with infertility), the future of human civilization is in jeopardy. BTW, the planet is not overpopulated. It can sustain far more. The problem is the misallocation of resources, i,e., food. In this country alone, tons of produce are thrown away per day simply because they are miss-shapen (or not perfect). Yet our country is filled with food deserts. That waste is at the grocery store stage. Farmers also destroy entire crops because they are paid to. And Ukraine alone produces enough grain to feed the world.

So many women were accused of being welfare mothers. Popping out babies to get money from the government. (This is also where sex education and birth control could help, but republicons are against them, too). Now creepy men in power, want to force women to reproduce.

Force them? Such a good little radical you are. I bet you would be okay with paying women $5,000 to have an abortion, huh? That is why feminism is no longer relevant. Abortion is not healthcare. They sell baby parts.

Creepy men in power? Like Biden sniffing little girls' hair? Like Biden showered with his granddaughter? No one forcing women to have babies. You are deranged if you truly believe that. Paying them $5,000 isn't forcing them. Republicans are against sex education for young children, as are many Dems. TEACHERS GROOMING CHILDREN! Republicans aren't against birth control.

Educated people are choosing not to bring
children into this world, it's the growing
trend...

So, offering $5,000 to women to have a
baby doesn't make much sense.

The genocide with fentanyl. The drug dealers didn't put it in the heroine, they
need their drug addicts alive. It's
sad to say alot of the users were mothers
or going to be mothers, and died. The
babies that were born were given up for
adoption.
We do not want drug users to go for
that $5,000!?

..and there are some women who get pregnant just for the benefits, ignorance

.. and some are just born into big
families, and it's been that way for
generations...

What does offering $5,000 really do!?

Covid was the next genocide for depopulation..again this brought down
birthrates...more loss of human life!

Has anyone noticed how much the
suicide rate has gone up?

..and our food is giving us cancer...

The consequences!

That’s your opinion. Let people have kids if they want them. You don’t get a say about whether couples want a child or not.
