I have said that in the beginning, give people an incentive to self-deport, it will save money and energy instead of ICE trying to locate them, seize them, deport them while fighting the dem judiciary machine. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-says-he-plans-stipends-part-self-deportation-program-2025-04-15/ The stipend is the carrot, but there should also be a stick: If ICE has to find you and deport you, you forfeit any stipend, and any chance of ever being allowed in the US again, even on a visitor visa. The Carrot and Stick approach regarding any matter has been a time honored practice that tends to work better than heavy handed policies.

Except that he had no right to tell these people to self-deport. American citizens got this email, too, btw. Are you down with him going after the birthright citizenship of native Americans, too? Unbelievable, belage. Next you will be fine with him staying right where he is in 2028, when he can’t even run again, and he doesn’t plan to, he just plans to stay. But that’s okay because why? And another reason, teasel, why I won’t bother answering your questions, is because you are fanatical, with zero capacity of logically debating a different viewpoint. You have been proven wrong maybe 1000+ times on this forum, but i have yet to see you acknowledge even once you were wrong in all the years you have been here. When proven wrong, you either double down, or resort to whataboutism, or you just disappear from the thread and bump other threads to bury the embarrassing thread.
