I don't buy it. Those polls could be fake, but let's assume that they are real. people could have some fear and apprehension because they saw how the markets reacted. But I prefer to watch what people DO and not what they SAY. People are still spending money. Lots of it. That is the TRUE indicator that tariffs are not damaging the economy. IP: Logged |

Is everything that doesn't fit your world view fake? How about Trump's 100-day approval rate being the lowest ever for any U.S. president? How about the S&P 500 performance being the worst since 1928? How about the U.S. consumer sentiment index being at its fourth lowest level since starting in 1952? All fake? IP: Logged |

I was talking specifically about the polls. We all know about how the stock market took a dip, and also took sone dramatics upward rises, didn’t it? That means it was artificial. It was to be expected. When I say fake, look at what I mean. That story that you posted about President Trump being a Russian agent was completely made up. One of many articles that were totally fake. How about the polls that had Hillary at 95 percent in 2016? How did that turn out for her? She woke up having lost. How about all the polls that showed Kamala would win? President Trump won every wing state, including the blue wall, plus the popular vote, and every state except one swung hard to the right—including California where several counties turned red. How about that recent jobs report? Way better than expected. How about inflation being down? Egg prices are up—wait, no, they are down also. Gasoline might be $5 or $6 a gallon, but … oh, wait, that was under Biden. I just bought gas at $1.99 a few days ago. I’m eager to fill up today and see how much lower it is. Since you want to mention polls, President Trump is only one point below what he was at this time during his first presidency. And he is scoring high on immigration. Even the majority of Dems love what he is doing on immigration. The majority of Dems also support requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote and a picture ID to vote. The far left that hijacked the party is losing its grip. Reasonable thinking moderate Dems are no longer afraid to voice how they really feel. You can reference low consumer sentiment, but people are still spending money. They haven’t pulled back at all. No recession in sight. So, what’s fake? All these stories about President Trump violating the law and the Constitution. Things look very good to me. We are receiving record numbers of billions in tariffs. The Budget reconciliation bill is being written that will give us everything that President Trump promised. Illegal Immigration is at record lows. Letitia James and Fani Willis are both going to prison. Two radical judges have been arrested and will lose their jobs. Green card holders who break the law and those with Visas who rally against America as having their Visas revoked. Gang member terrorists are being arrested and deported by the hundreds. China is facing deflation soon. India is going to be making their products for us, including iPhones. China quietly removed all tariffs on certain American products that they need from us and can’t live without. With 18 deals signed and over 50 more on the way, the markets will rebound much higher than before, and then I will Gen an apology from you saying I was correct, right? No, I didn’t think so. According to CNBC, the markets have stabilized. The S&P 500 is only down 1.3% for the past week. Volatility is trending low. The A/D line is rising. And bond yields are stabilizing. “In like a lion, out like a lamb” is what CNBC calls the past week. IP: Logged |

Gas hasn't gone down here, everything is worse. Our electricity is going up by at least $40 a month, and we live in a State that's being held prisoner by the republicons, because they openly cheat, and get away with it. We're also hearing about how things are going to get much worse in the next two weeks or so, thanks to your unstable idiot, and his tariffs. IP: Logged |

Everything he's done, that you are cheering, shows that his supporters never cared about people being here legally, and didn't vote out of "economic anxiety". That certainly wasn't a reason for people to riot and threaten democrats, on January 6th. People are being grabbed on the street. Kidnapped. ICE - or supposed ICE - are breaking the windows of cars, and grabbing people that way, too. They're stalking them at court, and interviews they're attending, because they're doing things the legal way. They're grabbing them as they do things the right way. And you're celebrating that.
