Before Trump's annexation threats and tariff war, the Canadian Conservatives were expected to have an easy win. The Liberal Party was in charge for the last 10 years and voters were unsatisfied. But thanks to Trump's aggressive rhetoric, he pushed voters back into the arms of the Liberal Party. Canadians are clearly not happy with how Trump has been treating them. Prime minister Mark Carney has promised Canadians to move away from the U.S. and to build relationships with more "reliable" allies. IP: Logged |

Canada has its own military, with which they supported the U.S. in Afghanistan after 9/11 when the U.S. invoked NATO article 5. But don't worry, Germany will invest 1 trillion euro in their military and other European countries will follow. France has already promised to allocate more than 3% GDP to their military. European countries will increase their military cooperation. UK is already in talks with the other EU countries. I'm sure they'll welcome Canada with open arms. IP: Logged |

Good. Who cares? The same authoritarian UK that jails it’s citizens over the posting of memes and who refused to allow parents to move their 2-year-old child out of the hospital to the US to receive care and posted police at the hospital to keep the child there to die? That UK?IP: Logged |

If nobody cared, Trump wouldn’t have tried to sway their election. If the other guy had won, you and Trump would be crowing. IP: Logged |

We all knew who was going to win. It was no surprise. And it was a win to get rid of that tyrant with his Napoleon complex.IP: Logged |
