Why do you think it's temporary? Where's your reasoning? Consumer spending is down, it's the most important driver of the economy. Consumer sentiments are historically low as is Trump's approval rating. Magical thinking isn't going to save your economy. IP: Logged |

Because $5 trillion in new investments are being made. There’s nothing magical about that. By the third quarter things will kick in. By the fourth quarter, we will be operating on all cylinders. I know you are cheering for our failure, but your disappointment will be worth the wait. IP: Logged |

The job cuts and facility closures were years in the making. No need to blame Trump for that! Proofs?? Here they are: Back in January 15, 2025, UPS announced that he would be cutting down jobs and close facilities as part of its “Network of the Future” overhaul... [UPS]https://www.supplychaindive.com/news/ups-warehouse-layoffs-network-of-the-future/737331/[/UPS] Back in March 2024, they announced that they would be closing 200 US facilities: https://www.supplychaindive.com/news/ups-closing-200-facilities-network-of-the-fu ture/711412/ IP: Logged |

If there are no customers, the economy will not grow. I don't know where the 5 trillion comes from and where it's going to, so I can't comment on the effects. And no, I'm not cheering for failure. But when I see bad policies, I will call them out. And I'm not the only one. Even the chairman of the Federal Reserve has been critical of Trump's policies. IP: Logged |
