This will save a lot of money for DHS and will prevent them from facing arrest, plus we will learn a lot about them and who and where they are. If they come back, it will be easier to find them.IP: Logged |

That is a good start. I probably would offer a little more, but hey... a family of 4 who self-deports can go back home with $4000.00, so it's should be a decent incentive.

They would also be able to apply to return legally in the future. That $4,000 in US dollars would have a lot more spending power in Mexico and other countries. IP: Logged |

I agree! But not before say 4 or 5 years have elapsed. Whereas those who don't self deport and have to be forcibly returned will not be eligible to apply to return legally ever. I think that should make self-deporting attractive for most people. IP: Logged |
