It shouldn’t take long. She signed the mortgage applications. She lied (twice) to get better interest rates. She said the loan was on her primary residence, she said it was 4 units (it was 5–anything over 4 is a commercial property), and she claimed her father was her husband. This is some serious stuff. She accepted the funds. The evidence is as strong as it gets. Bring in the loan officers for questioning and as witnesses against her. No plea deal. Maximum prison sentence. Oh, and arrest her, too. Search her office and house. Fingerprints and a mugshot. Fanni is about to get an investigation opened on her for stealing that corporate grant money. This is a great time to be alive, folks! No one is above the law. She paid the loans back, but it’s still fraud. No victims, but it’s still fraud.
