Oh, look how those DOGE cuts affected voters in red states! Not that it should matter, red or blue. MAGA does not care about you.

Ohio weather offices are suffering, too. Thanks a lot! We are extremely lucky that we only lost power. Our area was one of the hardest hit, there are 9000 still without power, not far from us. But people died in Missouri and Kentucky.

I read the article. Maybe you should take the time to read articles you post.

The article actually says that the weather office took necessary steps and was fully staffed.

quote:
It was an all-hands-on-deck situation in the Jackson office on Friday night.

“We saw the risk many days ago. We were already planning how we would staff days in advance,” said Christian Cassell, one of the office’s lead meteorologists. By Thursday, the staff had set up a schedule to stagger shifts Friday “knowing we were looking at a nearly full day of a threat of severe weather,” he said.

“I’m glad to say we were very well staffed for the entirety of the event,” Cassell said.

Apparently, they cut overnight staff when it is not needed, but when it is needed, they are able to get the office fully staffed.

Tornadoes are forces of nature that always have the potential to cause serious damage.

in 2021, under Biden, a raging tornadoe moved through Western Kentucky and caused extensive damage. 57 people died.
