Chief of Staff, Susan Wiles, and JD Vance called Elon and brokered a phone call between Musk and President Trump today.Wiles wants to keep the House (Elon had pledged $100 million for the mid-terms), and Vance needs Elon for his 2028 run. Elon needs the government contracts. I think President Trump might worry about Musk being a loaded cannon and reckless when he's high. That being said, they need each other.
