It was only as a courtesy because President Trump was not required to notify anyone as Commander-in-Chief under Article II. Jeffries and Schumer never answered their phones.IP: Logged |

What is that process? Have you read the law? Let me help you out.The WPR requires the president to: "Notify Congress within 48 hours of deploying U.S. forces into “hostilities” or situations where hostilities are imminent. End military actions within 60 days (or 90 days in emergencies) unless Congress approves continued engagement through a declaration of war or specific authorization." NOTIFY. Need a dictionary?
