Effective immediately, all individuals applying for an F, M, or J nonimmigrant visa are requested to adjust the privacy settings on all of their social media accounts to ‘public’ to facilitate vetting necessary to establish their identity and admissibility to the United States under U.S. law. http://x.com/USAinUKConsular/status/1937126381256605705 IP: Logged |

I think that's great! This is part of vetting. No one has an innate, God given, constitutional right to apply for and receive visa to come to the US. I bet other countries will follow suit too. IP: Logged |

I don't recall you complaining about vaccine passports when people had to show proof of jabs to travel...IP: Logged |

You mean in a global pandemic? No, I didn't complain. I do recall people here saying that private businesses shouldn't get to ban people, if they weren't vaccinated, and/or wearing a mask. Even though the same people who were against that, were fine with a woman refusing to make a wedding cake for a gay couple. IP: Logged |

You think that people shouldn't be allowed to have memes on their social media, about the president, or the VP? In the supposed land of free speech? Vance lectured Europe on free speech, earlier this year, but he's all for suppressing it. The game plan is always to just gaslight, get it out there, and see who falls for it. IP: Logged |

You can post whatever you want on social media. But the question remains, if I think so badly of the president of a country and its administration, do I have an ulterior motive in wanting to travel to the country? Maybe not, but those are the questions that have to be answered to vet people coming into this country. The US has just attacked Iran and is seen as an ally of Israel in the midst of the powder keg that is the Middle East. You don't think there are people who might want to come to the US to create trouble and chaos? There are probably sleeper cells of terrorists here already... IP: Logged |

You didn't complain about any of the undemocratic measures enacted during the global pandemic caused by the Chinese Wuhan lab which was financed by Fauci and his acolytes. In fact, you still worship Fauci. You really shouldn't talk or say anything when it comes to democracy. IP: Logged |

Visas are not a right. The are a privilege that can get revoked. IP: Logged |
