Of course they are. And, of course they’re saying that it will “only” affect criminals, when that shouldn’t be happening, either. This should affect Trump, too, since he is a convicted felon, but it won’t.

And they’ve consistently lied about kidnapping and trafficking violent criminals only. They’ve done it to students, to people who have lived here for decades, had families, been good citizens. They’ve already been arresting citizens.

Here is a long list of notable people whose citizenships have been revoked in the past:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_denaturalized_former_citizens_of_the_United_Stat es

While I can understand concerns that denaturalization can be misused to punish political opponents, as another use of lawfare -you know about lawfare, right, which the dems have perfected in the past few years - if people are proven to have lied on their naturalization application, then it is fair to revoke their citizenship because it was obtained fraudulently.

From that article you posted, (did you even read it or did you just skimmed the title?):

quote:
At least one person has already been denaturalized in recent weeks. On June 13 (2025), a judge ordered the revocation of the citizenship of Elliott Duke, who uses they/them pronouns. Duke is an American military veteran originally from the U.K. who was convicted for distributing child sexual abuse material — something they later admitted they were doing prior to becoming a U.S. citizen.

You want someone like this to keep his/they/them US citizenship????
