But his show is still scheduled to be on until MAY 2026?! That is not really "cancelled."

To me, cancelled means, now, today, this week at the most, your show stops! For instance, I am sure Joy Reid wishes she had a long "cancellation" period like Colbert.

I am sure they are doing that to see if before May 2026, the show can pick up viewers and recover enough so that they can cancel the "cancellation!"

Well, he is only 1 of 100+ people on mainstream media who have openly criticized Trump... So he is not special in that way... But apparently, advertising revenues were down.

They are letting him keep it until May. He was canceled because he has no viewers and was costing the network millions. But I hope it was because of President Trump. I relish the thought!
