Not the same thing, and you know it.

You can't yell "Fire" in a crowded theater, and you can't burn a flag to "incite a riot.” The EO specifically mentions when burning the flag is not constitutionally protected speech. Often, when a flag is burned, they get riled up and highly incited.

That being said, I don't believe in criminalizing flag burning. Let them burn the American flag, it will tell us Americans what side they are on and most Americans are not on that side. So the left has more to lose by burning US flags than we do...

Agreed. But there’s something going on behind the scenes. I’m pretty sure President Trump’s legal team is going to try to get this issue before the Supreme Court. The landmark decision was 35 years ago. The current Court has gone against precedent several times already. Just a thought.

I’m also reminded of a time when someone was arrested for spinning out his car over a chalk version of the Pride flag. Also, you can’t just burn things in public.
