Any drug that wrecks havoc on hormones or disrupt them significantly will cause mental/emotional issues.

Most women undergoing IVF become emotional train wreck due to the hormones fluctuations.
Even women going through menopause also go through emotional upheaval due to hormonal disregulation, even though menopause is a natural phenomenon.

Messing with hornomes is no jokes.
