1. The cut off age for a juvenile is now 18. What was it previously? It was 24! WTF?

2. The age where a child can be tried as an adult is now 14.

A 23 year old juvenile, lol!

No matter how egregious the crime, not agreeing on trying 14 year olds as adults. I believe there should be SEVERE consequences and sentencing when a 14 year old commits a felony or a homicide, but they are still not adults.

I may have explained it wrongly. Between 18 and 24, criminals could be treated as juveniles for lower sentencing guidelines. The new law makes 18-24 year-olds now treated as adults. Prior to the new law, 16-year olds could be tried as adults for heinous crimes. The new law was pushed after a 15-year old girl brutally murdered an Uber driver.
