Newsom cited 2023 CDC data saying Louisiana’s homicide (murder) rate is about 19.3 per 100,000 people, while California’s is about 5.1 per 100,000. He said that’s “nearly four times higher.”IP: Logged |

Funny that Gruesome is comparing California to Louisiana. Let's remind him that it is the democrat controlled blue cities in any state that have the higher rates of homicide. Here is a link: https://www.axios.com/local/new-orleans/2025/09/09/louisiana-new-orleans-vio lent-crime-rates-trump Scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN to where it shows: U.S. cities with the highest reported homicide rates in 2024 Top 20 among cities with at least 100k residents The map shows that 19 out of the 20 cities with the highest homicide rates are controlled by democrats, and only one by republicans. 19 out of 20!!!!
