I would say yes it is already here. Hegseths military. Calling army people fatso and dividing them.

Polarization every where including here. Not Trump but I am sure Stephen Miller gave orders to blow the Venezuela ship and talked about plenary power of Trump which can only come during emergency , making America more authoritative. Trump will go after all his opponents and will arrest all those who oppose him if and when that happens.

USA will remain as a country -- but Red and Blue states will be reorganized.

Randall, humble plea "Please bump my thread "The Last President" where I talked about a book written hundreds of years before predicting this. I am not able to find it. What was I thinking then? I lost my train of thoughts.

A republican controlled congress is blaming democrats for the shutdown. Trump /Vance told senators not to negotiate with the democrats.

Congress allocates funds to military pay and Pentagon is using some contingency funds to pay the military during shutdown. Will Trump dare the congress?
