Politico is certainly not right wing. THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL A FACT! So, why didn't Dems just make the subsidies permanent while they had the votes? You'll have to input your email address to read the free article (if you don't trust me), but the bottom line is that Dems essentially voted for the subsidies to end in 2025. Period.
