On The Five, Watters just briefly mentioned it. All he said was that Obama paid $400 million for a basketball court. He gives more detail on his own show. It's during the first two minutes, but keep watching the whole 12 minutes. It's hilarious!

Ok, I see what he meant! He was saying that Obama spent $376 millions OF TAXPAYERS MONEY to renovate the white house and all he had to show for it was a basketball court...

While the figure is accurate, that does not mean it is true that all he had to show for it was a basketball court.

But it is true that at the time Obama did this renovation USING TAXPAYERS MONEY, it was not a huge subject of conversation or controversy... like Trump spending his and his buddies money to redo the ballroom have become. Double standards?? I think so.
