And Dems are lying as usual saying that President Trump intentionally refused to do so on his own because he “wants families to suffer.” It is illegal to use emergency funding for a program that isn’t already flowing. SNAP is shut down because authorization had ceased. But now Dems have lost use of that false argument. With the judges’ orders, President Trump can use that as a valid reason. Still, this is a emergency fund, which depletes it if there is a hurricane. And it only covers one month before it is zero.
